Audio & Recording

Audio has been a part of my life for over 18 years, starting the same time I picked up the drums in 2008. What began as a desire to better understand and record my own instrument quickly turned into a deeper passion for sound engineering. Recording drums—one of the most challenging instruments to capture well—taught me early on the importance of mic placement, room acoustics, and attention to detail.

I’m largely self-taught through hands-on experience, with some formal study in audio engineering at Lane Community College. From there, I went straight into real-world work—recording bands, working in local venues, and building my skills in live sound. I’ve worked in a wide range of environments, from small dive bars to larger stages like Cuthbert Amphitheatre, Hult Center for the Performing Arts, and Matthew Knight Arena, assisting with setup, load-out, and monitor mixing.

As both a musician and engineer, I’ve shared stages with professionals behind the drum kit and behind the mixer—playing shows everywhere from local venues to the legendary Whisky a Go Go. That experience gives me a strong understanding of what artists need, both on stage and in the studio.

I primarily work in Logic Pro, with Reaper as an additional tool. My setup includes a reliable multi-input interface and a solid selection of microphones suited for a variety of recording situations. I focus on having the right tools and workflow to get the job done efficiently rather than overcomplicating the process.

I enjoy working with a wide range of artists, especially local and up-and-coming musicians. My goal is to make the recording process as smooth and frictionless as possible—so you can stay focused on your performance without getting slowed down by technical issues. I bring a strong work ethic, fast turnaround times, and I’m always open to offering creative input when it helps elevate the final product.

Live Sound

I provide live sound services for venues and events, including system setup, stage support, and monitor mixing. I focus on making sure performers hear what they need on stage while maintaining a clean, balanced sound for the audience.

Recording

From drums to full-band sessions, I specialize in capturing clean, high-quality recordings. I can record drum tracks for your project as a session player, or provide a space for you to track your own drums, depending on what your project needs.

Mixing

I take your recorded tracks and shape them into a cohesive, polished mix—balancing levels, enhancing tone, and making sure your music translates well across different systems. While I focus on delivering a strong final mix, I’m also happy to help you prepare your project for professional mastering if you choose to take it that final step.
